How does HDD destruction differ from SSD destruction?
A hard disk stores data magnetically on platters. Physical destruction breaks those platters so the disk cannot be reused as a drive. Degaussing, a strong magnetic field, is a different method used on some magnetic disks and tapes. It does not clear SSD or NVMe flash, because that data is not stored magnetically.
Solid-state drives in a shredding lot are sanitized or physically destroyed, the same choice used on the data destruction service. A magnetic method booked for hard disks does not clear the flash drives in the same box. The quotation should name HDD destruction and the SSD method separately.

A visit goes faster when the drives are already grouped. Loose disks in one place are simpler than disks still inside a hundred machines, unless removal is part of the agreed scope. Say whether serial numbers must be read before destruction, because that step takes longer than the destruction itself.
