IT Equipment Buyback in Dubai

Service Overview

Sell used IT equipment with a documented process

MAH Recycling purchases reusable IT equipment from UAE organizations. If you are retiring laptops, desktops, servers, storage or networking gear, we assess residual value, agree a price, collect the assets and handle data on storage media before anything is reused.

Items that cannot be resold are not left behind. They move into recycling as part of the same job, so you do not need a separate scrap contractor for mixed lots.

Who this service is for

Buyback is for companies that want to recover value from surplus hardware rather than storing it or sending mixed lots straight to scrap.

  • IT teams replacing fleets after a refresh or lease expiry
  • Procurement teams selling unused or overstock equipment
  • Facilities teams clearing storerooms of working devices
  • Operators with spare servers, switches or storage from a project

What we buy

Business laptops and docking stations
Desktop PCs and workstations
Rack and tower servers
Storage arrays, disk shelves and usable drives
Network switches, routers, firewalls and access points
Mixed lots that include both reusable and end-of-life items

How a buyback works

1

Send an asset list

Brand, model, quantity, age, specification and condition help us quote. Photos or a site inspection are used when the list is incomplete.

2

Valuation

Price depends on model, specification, quantity, cosmetic and functional condition, and whether storage media must be destroyed rather than reused.

3

Collection

After you accept the quotation we collect from your site with a recorded chain of custody.

4

Data handling, then reuse or recycling

Storage media is wiped or physically destroyed as agreed. Working equipment can be remarketed. The rest is dismantled for recycling.

Data handling before resale

Equipment is not sold on with customer data left in place. The method is agreed in the quotation.

  • NIST SP 800-88 aligned wiping where drives will remain in a reused system
  • Physical destruction of drives when you do not want media reused
  • A mix of both methods in the same lot, if that matches how you classify assets

Deliverables

  • Written valuation and scope
  • Collection from your UAE location
  • Agreed payment for reusable equipment
  • Recycling of items with no resale value
  • Inventory reporting after processing

Reporting

We can provide an inventory of collected items and a record of how storage media was treated. This is useful when procurement or finance needs a trail of what was sold versus recycled.

Certificates

Where data destruction is part of the job, applicable certificates can be issued after that work is completed. Buyback itself is documented through the quotation, collection record and inventory.
